1/2teaspooncoconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)
1/2cupcrushed peppermint candies or candy canes
1/4cupfestive sprinkles (optional)
1sheetparchment paper
Instructions
Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Heat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
Dip the Pretzel Rods: Hold a pretzel rod at one end, then dip it into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s covered about two-thirds of the way up. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle a generous amount of crushed peppermint candies over the chocolate-dipped section. If desired, also add festive sprinkles for extra color.
Set the Chocolate: Place the dipped pretzel rod back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat the dipping and topping process for the remaining pretzel rods.
Chill to Firm Up: Once all pretzel rods are coated, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the white chocolate has fully hardened.
Serve or Store: After the chocolate has set, you can serve the pretzel rods immediately or store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
