chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt until smoothly combined.
Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the wings, ensuring they are all coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
Arrange Wings: Remove the wings from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the Wings: Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy. If you like them extra crispy, switch to broil mode for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye on them to avoid burning.
Glaze the Wings: Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and brush them with any remaining marinade. Let them sit for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
Serve: Transfer the wings to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
