Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl, tossing until they are evenly coated with the marinade.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and give it another gentle toss to ensure even coverage.
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded (you may need to do this in batches).
Cook the shrimp in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the air fryer and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
Serve the shrimp on a white platter, drizzled with a touch of extra olive oil and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Accompany with lemon wedges for an added zesty touch. Enjoy!
