Instructions
In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture is smooth and no lumps remain.
Place one or two squares of chocolate in the center of the mug and gently push them down into the batter.
Microwave the mug on high for 40-60 seconds. Cooking time can vary based on the power of your microwave; check it at 40 seconds. The cake should be set around the edges but still slightly gooey in the center.
Allow it to cool for a minute before serving.
