Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil and cook the orzo according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the vegetable broth, stirring to combine, and bring to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, stirring until well mixed.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary.
Add the cooked orzo to the skillet, mixing until the pasta is well-coated in the creamy sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve in shallow bowls, drizzled with a bit of olive oil and additional Parmesan on top for an extra touch of elegance.
