ice cubes (optional, for a thicker consistency)
Instructions
Start by peeling the frozen banana and placing it in a blender.
Add the natural peanut butter to the blender with the banana.
Sprinkle in the unsweetened cocoa powder and the optional pinch of cinnamon if desired.
Pour in the almond milk, and if you like, add the honey or maple syrup to enhance the sweetness.
If you prefer a thicker consistency, add a few ice cubes to the mixture.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
Taste and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more milk or sweetener, then blend again if necessary.
Once fully blended, pour the smoothie into a tall glass or bowl.
Notes
Garnish with sliced banana and a drizzle of peanut butter or cocoa powder.
