Ingredients

1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

3 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken thighs and buttermilk. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).

Prepare the Breading Station: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In one shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. In another shallow bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.

Bread the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess, then dip into the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Place the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Chicken: Drizzle the olive oil over the breaded chicken pieces. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

Apply the Hot Honey: In the last 5 minutes of baking, drizzle the hot honey over the chicken pieces, making sure each piece is evenly coated.

Finishing Touch: Once out of the oven, let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

              Prep Time: 1 hour | Total Time: 1 hour 40 mins | Servings: 4

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the baked chicken on a rustic wooden board with a side of dipping sauce (like ranch or blue cheese) and fresh vegetable sticks. Drizzle with additional hot honey for an eye-catching finish!
